The disciples asked Jesus to teach them to pray. It wasn't so much a "how" to pray, it was teach us TO pray. James...is anyone in trouble? Pray. Anyone sick? Pray. In need of forgiveness? Pray.
You were made for relationship with God and with each other; you were made to exist in a circle of safety with a leader that is good.
Acts 2:42 - "They were devoted to.... fellowship."
A divided world needs a united church.
The promise of Romans 8 is that our groaning is not without purpose. Something beautiful is being born.
